I love AI. I love what it can do and I use it every day. I am also passionate about nudism and naturism. I see no contradiction here.
I have tons of ideas. Some good, some probably not so good, but this is not the point. The point is that I do not want to forget them. AI helps me put them in a calendar, decide when I could write them, manage translations, prepare uploads, look for keywords or collate many ideas into a possible table of contents for a book. This is a lot of work. AI helps me organise it.
It also helps me express an experience and structure this expression so it can touch more people. This is where I find AI incredibly useful. Not because it has the experience. It has none; all it has is other people’s texts. The experience is mine or belongs to another human being who has shared it. AI helps me find a way to express it better.

But AI is not doing the writing. I believe, after a lot of thinking and pondering, that it should not replace the human doing the human part.
The more I read about AI slop, the more I understand this. I also receive feedback from readers and I feel tired when I read too many AI texts. I’m sure you know the feeling. The text may be correct, the paragraphs are well built, everything flows, but after reading it, what remains? Sometimes not much, because nobody is really there.
We should not let AI write in our place just because it allows us to produce more. Producing more is not necessarily writing better. AI is an assistant, and sometimes a very good one. But an assistant is not the writer, and should not become one.
This is even more important for naturism. AI has never been naked on a beach. It has never removed its clothes for the first time in front of other people or felt the wind on its entire body, wondered what others would think, discovered that nobody actually cared, or understood how normal nudity becomes among naturists.
AI can collect what has already been written about those experiences and regurgitate it. This is exactly what I don’t want. A human experience has to be expressed, even awkwardly, by a human being.
I love naturism. I’m passionate about it, up to a point that I’m building my life around it. And I want to continue explaining what naturism is. I want to share my experiences and the experiences of others. I want to write about why I love being naked, why naturism makes my life better and how it may make the lives of others better too. AI can help me organise those thoughts and express them more clearly.
We need more nudist voices. Not more perfect texts about perfect naked people in perfect places. Naturism is not an artificial paradise. It is a real life, with sunburns, forgotten towels, first-time fears, friendships, laughter, disagreements and this incredible feeling of being free from clothes.
This is what we should write about. Our own experience, in our own voice, even when this voice is not perfect.
Let AI help. Do not let AI do the human part.
We need more naturist life and fewer artificial paradises.
