The Naturist Journey Continues

In 2015, I started Nude & Happy with a simple intention: to write about naturism honestly. Not as fantasy, not as provocation, but as a real human experience.

Since then, this small project has become much more than a blog. It has become a conversation. Over the years, I have published hundreds of articles and received messages from readers all over the world, many of them saying some version of the same thing: I thought I was the only one curious about this.

That sentence has stayed with me because it reveals something essential about naturism. For many people, the curiosity is already there. It is quiet, personal, sometimes hesitant, but real. Some are only beginning to wonder. Others already know the joy of being naked in the sun, on a beach, or in nature. Others still are discovering that naturism is not just a practice but a way of seeing the body, simplicity, and human presence differently.

That is why I want to begin a new rhythm on Nude & Happy.

Starting in April, this publication will follow The Naturist Journey, a year-long exploration of naturism month by month. Instead of treating naturism as one large abstract topic, we will move through it step by step, with each month focused on one dimension of nude life.

We will explore themes such as:

  • naturism in nature
  • social naturism
  • nude beaches
  • body acceptance
  • confidence and visibility
  • naturism and relationships
  • living naked at home

I also want the weekly rhythm to feel clearer and more intentional.

Each week, three types of posts will guide the journey:

  • A deeper naturist article
  • A story, sometimes personal and sometimes fictional
  • A lighter reflection, question, or humorous piece from everyday naturist life

I like this structure because it reflects the reality of naturism itself. Some parts are philosophical. Some are playful. Some are practical. Some are deeply personal. Taken together, they form a fuller picture than any single article could.

At the center of this new rhythm is one conviction I have held for years: naturism is not about nudity alone. It is about living more honestly in the skin we were given and discovering what changes when the body is no longer treated as a problem to hide.

If you have been reading Nude & Happy for a long time, thank you for walking this path with me. If you are new here, welcome. This is a good moment to begin.

The journey starts where naturism begins for many people: nature itself.

Our first monthly theme will be Naturism in Nature, and the first step will be The Magic of Naked Hiking. It feels like the right place to start because so many naturists discover something important outdoors. Not just freedom, but a sense of alignment. The body stops feeling separate from the world and starts feeling part of it.

That is the rhythm I want to explore here over the coming year: not only what naturists do, but what naturism reveals.

If you feel like joining me, tell me this: what part of naturism are you most curious about right now?
