September was the first real month of operation for The Nude House.
Not the first month in which we wrote, published, or sold a book. We have been doing those things for much longer. But it was the first month in which the House truly began to work as a house: several voices, several forms of naturist writing, a clearer publishing rhythm, and a community gathering around all of it.
And you made that first month matter!
Our paid Substack community finished September at 92.1% of its target, while growing 16.7% month over month. To every new member: welcome. And to everyone who was already here and chose to stay with us: thank you.
Every paid subscription supports the creation of independent nudist and naturist essays, stories, practical resources, and books. It gives us room to take this work seriously, to let ideas develop properly, and to build something more durable than a stream of disposable posts.
On the books side, our activity grew 11.5% month over month. Thank you to everyone who bought a Nude & Happy book in September, and to everyone who read one through Kindle Unlimited. Every purchase and every page read helps these books travel farther and tells us that there is a real place for thoughtful naturist publishing.
Taken together, The Nude House grew 24.6% month over month in September, finishing 9.1% ahead of our target.
This is huge.
I am genuinely excited, not only for the House, but for all of us who believe that nudism and naturism deserve better stories, better books, and a stronger public voice. These results are not just business indicators. They are signs that more people want a calm, intelligent, human conversation about the nude life.
At The Nude House, we are fully committed to continuing that work. We will keep creating more for nudists, naturists, and the people who are still curious about joining us. We will keep carrying the message of peace, respect, body comfort, freedom, and ordinary human connection that sits at the heart of naturism.
And there is more coming.
This November, Stan Muir and Alma Dune will take on their own month-long novel-writing challenge, inspired by the NaNoWriMo tradition. Together they will create a new naturist fiction novel in French first, followed by an English edition. Both editions are planned to be ready for Christmas.
It is an ambitious promise. It is also exactly the kind of promise The Nude House was created to make: not more noise, but more imagination, more craft, and more stories in which naturist life can feel rich, ordinary, tender, funny, and fully human.
For now, though, this is simply a thank-you.
