Deadlines are better without a waistband.

“Daily Naturist Living” is a series of reflections, stories, and encouragements about what it means to live as a naturist not just on holidays, but every day. Through each part, we explore different moments of everyday life—how they feel when experienced in the nude, and how embracing naturism deepens simplicity, presence, and authenticity.

Naked at the Desk: A Quiet Revolution

I’ve been working from home one or a few days a week for years now. And for almost all of that time, I’ve done it naked. Not because it’s rebellious. Not because it’s provocative. But because it makes sense. There’s something beautifully honest about sitting at your desk with your bare skin against the chair, a coffee in hand, and the morning sun warming your chest. The lack of fabric between you and your space fosters a clarity that clothing simply doesn’t provide.

Working naked removes distractions. No tight waistbands. No itchy tags. No socks slowly strangling your ankles. It frees your body, and in turn, frees your mind.

Productivity isn’t just about tools or tactics. It’s about your state of being. And when I work naked, I’m focused, grounded, and genuinely present.

Handling the Unexpected: Calls, Deliveries, and Boundaries

Let’s be honest. Remote work still involves other people. Video calls, doorbells, and surprise visitors can throw a wrench in your naked rhythm.

That’s why I keep a wrap or robe nearby—something light, easy to slip on, that doesn’t feel like putting on armor. It’s about staying respectful, not about abandoning my naturist values. I’m still nude under it. Still me.

I’ve also learned to set clear boundaries. A simple “camera off” policy unless absolutely necessary, or choosing to take certain calls as audio only, helps maintain my comfort. And with couriers, a friendly smile wrapped in a towel is usually enough to keep things smooth.

The Deeper Shift: Naturist Work Mindset

What’s surprised me most isn’t the comfort—it’s the confidence. Working naked at home has changed how I carry myself in professional situations.

I’ve become more authentic, less performative. I focus more on what matters and less on how I’m perceived. There’s a certain power in knowing that your ideas, not your outfit, are what define your day.

Naturism, even when unseen, gives strength. It reminds you that you are enough—uncovered, unmasked, and fully present.

Work Naked, Live Fully

In a world that often values image over essence, working from home naked is a return to truth. You become your most honest self—not just in front of the screen, but within.

The digital world may never see your nudity, but it can feel your presence. And that, in the end, makes all the difference.

  1. I’ve been working 90+%from home since Covid hit and my industry moved online. For work I wear whatever shirt is required, gentlemen’s jewelry, and footwear. I have a kilt at hand with phone, wallet, keys, etc. in it. That way I can just grab it and go.

Kilts are a godsend. They’re so much more comfortable than pants. I’m convinced that if all men in the world had to wear a kilt for 24 hours, most would not go back to pants.
