Naturism is often discovered in fragments. A first visit to a nude beach. A conversation that suddenly becomes honest. A quiet outdoor moment where removing clothes feels less like a transgression than a return to something simple.
But naturism is larger than any one experience. It is a practice, a philosophy, and, for many of us, a gradual journey.

That is why I am giving this year on Nude & Happy a clearer shape.
The Naturist Journey will take us through twelve months of exploration, with each month focused on one facet of naturism. The goal is not to rush toward a definition. It is to move slowly enough to notice the nuances: the social side, the practical side, the philosophical side, and the deeply ordinary moments that make nude life meaningful.
Below is the roadmap for the year ahead.

April — Naturism in Nature
For many people, naturism begins outdoors. A forest trail, a quiet beach, a hidden cove where the wind becomes something you feel rather than something you merely notice. This month will explore the connection between naturism and the natural world.
Topics will include:
- naked hiking
- the sensory experience of nature
- rediscovering the body outdoors
- the ecology of simplicity
First article: The Magic of Naked Hiking
May — Social Naturism
Once the first curiosity settles, another discovery often appears: naturism is social. Naturists build spaces where the body becomes ordinary and human interaction becomes simpler.
We will explore:
- how naturists meet
- the social codes of naturist spaces
- why nudity often reduces social barriers
- the culture of naturist communities
June — Nude Beaches
For millions of people around the world, nude beaches are the first encounter with naturism. This month will look at what actually happens there and why these places matter so much in the beginner experience.
We will explore:
- what actually happens on nude beaches
- etiquette every beginner should know
- what to bring
- how naturists and textiles coexist
July — Summer Naturist Adventures
Summer awakens something simple and joyful: the desire to feel sun, water, and air directly on bare skin.
We will explore:
- naturist camping
- swimming without clothes
- naturist resorts
- summer gatherings
August — The Philosophy of Naturism
At some point many naturists discover something deeper. Naturism is not only a lifestyle. It is also a philosophy.
We will explore:
- why naturism is more than nudity
- authenticity and vulnerability
- the philosophy of the naked body
- what naturism teaches about modern life
September — Confidence and Visibility
One of the strongest transformations in naturism is confidence: learning to exist without hiding and to be visible without performing.
We will explore:
- acting natural as a social skill
- the courage of being seen
- why confidence is contagious
- the social ripple effect of authenticity
October — Naturism and Relationships
Naturism often affects relationships with partners, friends, and family. This month will explore some of the questions that arise when nude life touches shared life.
We will explore:
- telling a partner about naturism
- navigating curiosity and hesitation
- trust and vulnerability
- relationships in naturist environments
November — Winter Naturism
Naturism does not disappear when the weather cools. It simply changes form.
We will explore:
- staying nude indoors during winter
- the psychology of comfort
- routines for indoor naturism
- maintaining the naturist mindset year-round
December — Reflection and the Naturist Journey
The end of the year invites reflection. We will revisit the path we have walked and ask what naturism teaches about life, freedom, and authenticity.
January — Curiosity and First Steps
The new year often brings curiosity, so this month will focus on the questions beginners ask most often.
We will explore:
- why people want to try naturism
- the fear of being seen naked
- the first experience of social nudity
- the moment nudity becomes normal
February — Body Acceptance
Naturist spaces reveal something surprising: bodies quickly become ordinary.
We will explore:
- the myth of the perfect body
- body neutrality in naturist environments
- overcoming shame
- learning to see bodies differently
March — Living Naked at Home
For many naturists, the most meaningful experiences are not public. They happen quietly at home: morning routines, cooking, working, resting, and simply being.
We will explore the small everyday ways naturism becomes part of daily life.
A Year of Exploration
This journey is not about convincing anyone. It is about exploring, understanding, and sharing experiences with more coherence than before. Naturism is a path many people walk quietly. Through Nude & Happy, we can walk it together more deliberately.

If you have been here for years, thank you. If you are new, welcome. The first step is coming 1st of April: The Magic of Naked Hiking.
